Mtu Value Care Agreement

The agreement – global Frame Value Care Agreement (VCA) – will link the cost of maintenance services to the duration of the engine` operation. Rolls-Royce`s Power Systems division ensures that, for every scheduled maintenance, the appropriate spare parts are manufactured in the right place for a ship at the right time. This approach will allow Svitzer to focus on the efficiency of technical management and ship operations, while planning, terminalization and spare parts deliveries will be carried out by Rolls-Royce. “We are pleased that Svitzer has decided to intensify its collaboration with us as a trusted partner,” said Denise Kurtulus, Director of Rolls-Royce`s Global Marine Company. “This new agreement provides us with the basis for strengthening our cooperation on other technologies such as hybrids and gas engines, as well as on digital real-time operational monitoring services. Through the ongoing collection and processing of technical data, digitization has opened up a number of new opportunities in the area of proactive maintenance management. These are already made by Rolls-Royce as part of the Customer Service 4.0 with new digital products like MTU-Go! Act and MTU-Go! Manage the availability of solutions strategies tailored, among other things, to the needs of fleet operators. “We are pleased that Svitzer has decided to intensify its collaboration with us as a trusted partner,” said Denise Kurtulus, Director of Global Marine Affairs at Rolls-Royce. “This new agreement provides us with the basis for strengthening our cooperation on other technologies such as hybrids and gas engines, as well as on digital real-time operational monitoring services. Rolls-Royce has signed a 10-year service contract with world leader Towage- und Marine-Dienstleister Svitzer A/S.
